About Natalie

As a first gen college student and corporate girlie, I know about the feelings of imposter syndrome and confusion when you first enter the workplace, especially when your parents are blue collar workers and don’t have experience navigating corporate life.

When I first entered Microsoft as a Product Manager for my internship and then full time during COVID in June 2020, I felt very overwhelmed. How was I going to build rapport remotely? What does it mean to be a successful product manager?

Over time, I maintained my ambition and determination, leveled up by learning from successful peers, honing my skillset, and advocating for myself and my ideas, leading me to getting promoted 4 times in 2.5 years. In this time, I mentored many early in career product managers and started a women’s career circle at Microsoft. My accelerated career growth enabled me to buy my first apartment at the age of 24 and I want to inspire others to be able to do the same!

I wanted to share my knowledge with students so they’d be better prepared for the workplace. As a result, I designed the inaugural masters-level course at Boston University, Intro to Product Management for Data Science, which is being taught Spring 2024, and created Natalie’s Studio!

In addition to my product and career passions, I’m also building community for 20-30 year olds in Queens through Natalie’s Studio. My goal is to teach others key adult skills that they didn’t learn in school, such as personal finances and gardening, through interactive and fun in-person events.
